Finance Fox spelled out  ”35 Money Lies People Tell Regularly.”   A few items on this list will hit close to home for pretty much everyone, and he does a great job of using sarcasm.

Free Money Finance started a great series called “The 52 Best Money Saving Tips.”  FMF is one of the top personal finance sites out there, and they certainly have a ton of great knowledge to share!

Frugal Toad posted “Frugal Living Made Easy.”   Frugal living is all about making informed and deliberate choices in how to spend money. In other words, frugality allows me to get more value for my hard-earned dollar and who wouldn’t want that?

Squirrelers offered up “Getting the Best Deals When Visiting Theme Parks.”  Saving money is a good thing.  Saving money on having fun – well, that’s even better!  Along those lines, this post discusses how to save money on trips to amusement parks.

Add-Vodka posted “It’s Not Necessary To Pay For Your Kid’s College Education” telling her own story about how she paid for her own education and has used that as a jumping off point towards success.

Free Money Wisdom posted “5 Ways to Pay Off Your Mortgage Without Breaking the Bank” offering some great tips on how to get your monthly payment down.

Family Finances Blog wondered “Are Bank CDs a Waste of Time and Money for Families?” noting that the low rates offered barely make them worth your time.

SFB asked the question “Is Getting Pet Insurance Worth It?” and it might be- depending on your circumstances.

20′s Finances explored the “Cost of Being in Someone Else’s Wedding” analyzing the big costs associated with being in a wedding party.

Ready For Zero posted “How Can I Get My Credit Card Fees Waived?” noting that your other credit card fees are negotiable as well (and some can be waived). All of these fees are negotiable if you are willing to pick up the phone and make a call.

Mom’s Plans posted about  ”Low Cost Online Summer Math Enrichment Programs.”   If your kids are off school and you are looking to prevent the infamous summer backslide, here are a few low cost math programs we have discovered. Your child will not be working all day, but rather spending 20 to 40 minutes a day on the computer working to improve their skills.

The Millionaire Nurse posted “Are You An Investing Scaredy Cat?” discussing risks and rewards in investing…Do you understand them? What makes people sell when they should buy?

Penny Thots posted “Ways to Find Extra Money” with some great tips that you can start using right away.

Good Financial Cents offered up “5 Questions to Ask Yourself Before You Buy Something.”  So often, we buy something, sure that we “need” it, only to find that it’s not really something that we use again, or that we truly need.

Prairie Eco Thrifter posted “8 Great Things That You Can Find at Thrift Stores.”  Who doesn’t love thrift stores?

Yes, I Am Cheap posted “Eating Healthy And Cheap In The Long Term” about eating on a budget for some time now and has learned to cook over years of trial and error.

Modest Money posted “Overcoming Unemployment Challenges” discussing the struggles he has had to overcome to rejoin the world of the employed.

One Cent at a Time posted “How can you stick to your budget consistently.”  Creating a budget is difficult task but, sticking to the budget is tougher. Budgetary allocation requires discipline and consistency. Learn how you can amend regular over spending habit and stick to the budget.

Live Real Now discussed “How to Live Happily without a Budget” discussing how setbacks and shortfalls can almost kill a budgeting plan completely

Christian PF posted “4 Strategies for Saving Money On Haircuts.”  If you are looking for some ways to beat the salon prices, these are 4 tips that have worked for them.

Personal Finances By the Book posted “Should You Have a Living Trust, a Will, or Both?” noting that it issmart to consider what will happen to your estate.

PT Money chimed in with “How to Start a Christmas Tree Farm to Make Extra Money: Tips from the Christmas Tree Man.”  Another idea for making additional money: Christmas tree farms. This interview includes information such as the bare minimum needed to begin, land acquisition, and how you can actually make money selling Christmas trees.

Living in Financial Excellence posted “Party Decorations on a Budget.”

Frugal Zeitgeist posted “You can save money by buying coffee” discussing an idea by Forest to create an envelope system to save money when you make your own coffee.

Last but not least, Personal Finance Success posted about “The psychology of paying off debt.”
